Why I chose this recipe:
I love making salad dressings from scratch. It is easy, fast and delicious. The key is to have the staples in your refrigerator and pantry ready to grab whenever you get the urge. You will see from the ingredients’ list that it will not take much effort. I honestly never buy salad dressing from the grocery store any longer because I have finally figured out the formula I like better than anything I find on the shelves at the store.
While this vinaigrette is fantastic as a dressing on a salad, it is also delicious as a marinade for chicken or shrimp. After marinading the protein for 1 hour to all day, throw the chicken or shrimp on the grill and enjoy a flavorful entree as well.
